Operation Turkey: Volunteer Planning & Leadership Opportunities

Date: Thursday, October 8, 2026
Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Zoom - invitation provided by Operation Turkey

Looking for ways to get more involved with Operation Turkey? This volunteer-run organization is seeking Austin area volunteers to help with planning, logistics, fundraising, community outreach, marketing, food procurement, and volunteer coordination. Its goal this Thanksgiving is to deliver 65,000 meals to people in need.

Whether you can give a few hours each month or are interested in a larger leadership role, complete the Volunteer Questionnaire to share your interests, skills, and availability.

Operation Turkey will review responses and contact volunteers whose interests and availability match current needs with next steps, including an invitation to the October 8 Zoom meeting.

This opportunity is hosted by Operation Turkey. Austin Allies is sharing it with our volunteer community.
